Meet ACE!
Ace is a lovely two-year-old dog who came to SCAN with his sibling after their owner died. Before arriving here, the pair had lived with their family on a plot of land and knew little of life beyond their home and garden.
The wider world has brought plenty of unfamiliar experiences, from walking on a lead alongside people to encountering cars, bikes and everyday noises. It has been confusing at times, but both dogs are coping well and learning step by step.
Through it all, their friendly personalities have shone through. These lovely dogs are taking each new experience in their stride.
Ace’s lead-walking skills are improving every day, and he is becoming more confident around our volunteers. With his lovely character, he now needs a family who will help him feel secure and give him time to discover the world at his own pace.
