Lizzie
Lizzie - the understimated gem
Lizzie was a SCAN dog many years ago when she was adopted into a lovely family. Unfortunately, the couple split up and were unable to keep the dogs.
Since June this year, Lizzie is in foster care, as she is quite timid at the beginning. But we think the statement of the foster family is very clear:
Hi everyone, Lizzie has been fostered with me since the 22nd of June. She came to me a very sad and frightening girl who had lost her family through no fault of hers. She was with them for 6 years and before that used for breeding. Lizzie is about nine years old. So slowly over the summer she has gained confidence and today was our first day on the beach. She's a lovely girl perfect on the lead , good with other dogs - I have a male and a female. No issues with cats; she just ignores them. She just needs a safe corner to retreat to, if she wants. Now she spends more time with us and the dogs.
Her perfect home will have a confident first dog, a quiet corner where she can relax, and plenty of patience, so that she can build trust without pressure and show her true character.
